| Hot days are here again… The skies above are sunny again… So let’s remember a day of cold weather again… Hot days are here again. August? Already? Ce n’est pas possible! I think that means that Fall Market is just a few months away. Oy vey! Ce n’est pas possible! What is possible is that I have finally gotten around to showing you the new quilts. You might have already seen the big quilts as they were officially published in May. Though I didn’t get around to having the pictures here until now… because I was waiting until the new Schnibbles were done! Or until I got back from France… it was one of those. Nine Dots is on the way… in fact, it’s already on the Fabric page. Some of the pieces from Fresh Palette go with it but the look of it is quite different. It was based on vintage feedsack prints that were cleaned up a bit, re-scaled, re-sized and re-colored to get something a little more contemporary. The pieces and colors were chosen so that all twenty-one pieces would work together, but could still be broken up into smaller groups for projects that used as few as two or as many as eight coordinating fabrics. Depending on when you’re reading this, there is also a new book coming in September – Another Bite of Schnibbles, published by That Patchwork Place. If everything goes according to schedule, that should arrive on September 20th. Since the schedule is out of my control, that means it should be on time!
